About me
I have always been interested in making things and have been making models since about 2007.
I started work when I was 14, that was in about 1940. I worked in a wireless shop in SE London, it was a tough time and the first thing I made, soon after the end of WW2 was a 3 Valve radio set. I then moved onto a television with a 6 inch screen made from ex government RAF radar gear. This was soon superseded by a much better 12 inch cathode ray tube television built into an old sideboard (here's a model I made of it).

My next project in 1948 was a two seater sports car built using the old chassis of a 1932 Austin Seven. Click here to read more about this project.

Then I was blessed and married a fine lady, bringing into the world two lovely daughters. I no longer had much time for making things but continued to make toys and improvements to our new home.
